At this years 22nd European Biomass Conference and Exhibition in Hamburg a further gas analysis workshop was held. This years theme was "Chemical Analysis in Bioenergy Conversion Processes". In this parallel event once more we had the ability to discuss openly the problems, needs and challenges that process gas analysis offers.

At this years 22nd European Biomass Conference and Exhibition in Hamburg a further gas analysis meeting will take place. This years theme is "Chemical Analysis in Bioenergy Conversion Processes". We will again bring together international experts working with bioenergy conversion processes in basic and applied research and in industry. We will discuss new developments, analytical needs and collaborative work to reach progress in this area.

On April 3rd and 4th a workshop at TU Berlin took place where we discussed a number of process gas analytic related questions. We talked about the path to follow in the gas analysis working group. the workshop program can be found here. More information will become available in the coming days.

On March 21st 2014 a first webinar on test gas generators was held. We had presentations from Françoise Defoort (cea, France), Matti Reinikainen (vtt, Finland) and Christian Hamel (Fraunhofer UMSICHT, Germany).
The presentations covered several examples for generating test gases and test gas mixtures for different purposes. Find here the presentations and discuss further information needs.
